We process your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This page also contains the mandatory legal information about the publisher of this website.
Data controller
Nalenta, established in Belgium. Questions or GDPR requests: support@nalenta.be.
What data
We process: the heir's email address, deceased information (name, date of death, region), inventory data (assets, debts), your decision and case history. For security, fraud prevention and evidence around intake, payment and access, we also process limited timestamp, IP-address and browser user-agent data. We do not process national-register numbers or third-party bank account numbers.
Legal basis
Performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR) to provide the service, legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR) for administrative requirements such as invoicing, our legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR) in security, fraud prevention and legal claims, and your explicit consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR) for optional analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4 and our internal measurement). You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking 'Reject' in the cookie banner.
Retention
Your dossier access ends 12 months after payment. You may request deletion of dossier data, including earlier; payment evidence and accounting records subject to legal retention are kept for 10 years. Separate retention periods apply to internal product analytics and technical case events; records are deleted after the applicable period once the controlled deletion procedure is activated.
Processors
Stripe (payments, EU), a transactional email provider, a European cloud hosting provider, and, only after your explicit consent via the cookie banner, Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) for anonymized visit statistics. We do not use advertising trackers.
Contact form anti-spam
Our contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA (Google Ireland Ltd.) on the basis of our legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR). Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply (policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/terms).
Contact, feedback and optional updates
When you use our contact or feedback form, we process your name (if requested), email address, message and technical spam-check data to handle your request, based on your request and our legitimate interest in providing support. You can submit the form without marketing consent. Only when you tick the separate optional box do we keep your email address for practical tips and Nalenta updates on the basis of consent; you can unsubscribe with one click at any time.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data. Complaints can be filed with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).

Nalenta is a trade name of Laurens De Leeuw, sole proprietorship under Belgian law (company number BE 0695.421.308). Registered office in Belgium, full address on request.
VAT status
Subject to the small-business VAT exemption (article 56bis Belgian VAT Code). No VAT charged.

European cloud provider, data inside the EU/EEA.
