Pets and livestock
Animals are part of the estate. For dogs, horses and some other animals, official registration is mandatory.
Dogs: DogID
- DogID: national dog database
A dog must change keeper within 8 days. The new keeper registers the transfer in DogID.
Horses
- Belgian Equine Confederation: passport
The passport must be updated within 30 days via Hippoport or the recognised body.

Livestock (cattle, sheep, goats, pigs)
- Sanitel: contact your provincial FASFC office
Livestock transfers go through Sanitel. Your farm vet or FASFC will guide you.
